Advanced Electronic Signature (AES) in the craft sector

Advanced Electronic Signature (AES) refers to a particularly secure type of electronic signature that is often used in the trades for contracts, invoices and other documents. Unlike simple electronic Signatures, which can be easily forged or manipulated, AES requires identification of the signatory and thus ensures high integrity and confidentiality of the signed documents. AES is an important step in the digitization of the trade and increases efficiency and security in business transactions. Other terms that can be associated with AES are digital signature, qualified electronic signature and advanced signature.
